Latent C. examines the dissonance between warning and understanding—the moment when children become aware that adults are cautioning them against something they cannot yet comprehend. Through intricate pen work on paper, the piece visualizes this gap in perception, where urgent messages meet unformed consciousness.

The doodle-inspired aesthetic evokes the visual language of childhood, while the obsessive, layered mark-making suggests the repetitive nature of warnings that fall on ears too young to decode their gravity. What appears playful on the surface carries an undercurrent of concern, mirroring how children sense the weight of adult anxiety without grasping its source.
